Dude i just learned this year that my sister's classmate from elementary school that lives near me is a vtuber. I learned about that this though her grandma talking to my mother about how she is a shut in and only plays games in her room. But it got better recently and she is even travelling to UK or Germany. My mom asked my sister about her and she was like "she is weird, she thinks she is anime character or something and she plays some game for years" so i start naming games and of course its LoL. Then she links me her Instagram and i see a link to twitch. She has 20k followers and was streaming for 6 years. Seems like nobody in her family or local area even knew about it or understood what it meant, they didn't even realise she was travelling to twitchcon or various conventions.
