My parents forced me to join a choir from the age of 8-17. I still remember that one time where we had to do the cup song. The lyric sheet we were given had "whiskey" aggressively blacked out with a wonky "juice" written over it in blue ballpoint pen. xD We collectively decided to sing the og, as most of us were forced to join. We sung this in a church. Our director was so mad because most of us ended up not singing at all so it turned into a very awkward event. xD

There was also another time where we did field trips to several places and once visited out 'partner-choir' in germany. We had to sing Jingle Bells in a retirement home. I know some german so afterwards, I heard an old woman ask another if she knew WHAT we were singing, essentially saying that we were singing: "Schinken bringen, Schinken brkngen, Schinken all the way" (in english: "Bringing the Ham, Bringing the Ham, Bringing the Ham all the way"). She then proceeded to ask when they would get to eat the ham... that trip was wild. xD

In choir my mom is the type of person to correct my singing and tell me to smile (we weren't supposed to) and telling me to be louder even though we are supposed to blend our voices together
