I love how this theme pairs so well with the main menu. It's a reminder that we have no clue what lurks out there, in the darkest corners of space. The kind of horror that we can't possibly comprehend and should pray to never come in contact with.

This theme always gives me the chills. Seeing how Sevastopol is so small and isolated away from other forms of life compared to KG-348 is just how we as humans are the same way. Compared to the entire universe, we think we are the only ones and quite possibly, we can be. Imagine that all the way millions of years away, lies no other life besides the life on Earth. We are only a spec compared to the full picture.

When I first played this game, I deadass just stayed on the main menu screen for like half an hour listening to this. I love it, there’s already a huge sense of dread and you haven’t even started the game yet. Horror games that have this style of ambiance to it are amazing.

the main menu screen is the best main menu screen from any video game I've played.
The station is so small compared to the vast void of space and the massive planet, it builds the sense that you truly are alone. this unsettling track completely captures that feeling with an almost sense of awe that comes with looking out into that abyss, knowing that you are utterly alone. But there is some
serenity from that sight, and it perfectly captures the feel of Alien.
