My hair care routine for long, healthy hair ✨

I have medical condition where my hair thinned out. Looking back at old photos, I was balding on my temples and back crown started to have visible thinning.
Now, people have commented how thick and lush my hair. I think it’s bc of these:
🩶 reduced stress
🩶 better diet
🩶 every 2 months, I get scalp treatment. My scalp gets doused with oil. Hard bristle brush to comb out dead skin. Followed by 7 min scalp massage.
🩶 I wash my hair every 2-3 days with Head & Shoulder.
🩶 I use scalp massager to thoroughly clean my scalp.
🩶 I use deep conditioner.

Thank you so much for including the genetics part!! ‘Tis the unfortunate truth that we like to forget sometimes.😅 I have suuuper long hair (past my hips) that I always get compliments on… but I honestly don’t do shit for it.🙈 Genetics really do matter, but I bet you can always *improve* your hair! That improvement just may look different for you than it does for someone else.🫶🏼

My son is young only in his 20's. His dad passed some years ago, a homicide. The shock of it started making his hair fall out. And it's never stopped. It was so thick before. If anyone has any ideas for hair loss in men, I'll take it. TY!! *I worry about DHT blockers as I've heard those are bad for men.

You really do have some AMAZING hair, girl! 😍 Thank you for sharing your favorite products! Do you ever do overnight heatless curls, and if so, what do you use? I've been using 2 of my husband's old bathrobe belts tied in the middle, lol (I have a LOT of hair, so I need 4 "strands"), and it turns out pretty but the curls are just a littttle too tight... They fall SO much during the day, though, so they look best about 6-8 hours later, but it's almost completely straight again by the next day. (I wish they still made that "Wash 'n Curl" shampoo 😢)
