SolidWorks Workflow for Electronics Design

See how SolidWorks can help streamline your electronic design process, using tools in various phases of the design to optimize your board and enclosure designs. We'll investigate how electrical and mechanical engineers can bi-directionally transfer board and component layout data, allowing for the ME to run design validations early in the product development state and provide feedback back to the electrical engineer about component placement and overall structural integrity.

Once a preliminary board design has been converged on we'll look at typical linear dynamic concerns that the ME might face. Finally we'll investigate the cooling requirements of the board when it's placed inside it's enclosure and evaluate various geometric configurations to figure out which design will meet our component thermal requirements.

I would love to have Solidworks for my Finite Element Analysis class instead of ANSYS Workbench! You guys make an amazingly easy piece of software that has great documentation and the controls are very intuitive.

Wow, couldn't even imagine that Solid Works can do things like that.. it's definitely wasn't at my SW classes
