Cole palmer is always missing in big games 😅😂

Yes Palmer went missing but Maresca didn’t help his team by playing with a high line while not providing consistent pressure. Maresca has been generally awful during this Chelsea slide.

Palmer looked lost. Haaland showed him what big league is!

I was at The Bridge on Dec 1st when we beat Villa 3-0, great game. Maresca then made a statement that we were not title contenders when in 2nd then we've been average to really poor. Why did he say that ? If a manager makes that kind of statement to a young team, where's their focus.... he's an idiot, keeping Sanchez in goal proves it, surely.

Feel bad for Khusanov. Hope he moves on like a champ

If Chelsea don't qualify for the CL, no reason keeping Maresca. He'll ride and die with Sanchez so be it. But top 4 is a must.

Palmer does go missing in big games and was poor in recent games. I like Palmer but he has a lot more learning to do playing in the 10 role. Poor passing, losing ball, not playing in the strikers and holding the ball too long.

Most of you guys are missing the point. Maresca is the coach and not the manager, what that means is that he gets told what players he has at his disposal. Do you really think he wants Sanchez or even Jackson? Jorgensen isn't that much better than Sanchez and Nkunku isn't on the same level as wack jackson as far as physicality. That's why pochetino left because this new ownership are forcing players on them to use to get monetary gain. That's why Pep can pick who he wants to buy and he can't. What coach in their right mind would want to buy Genacho from Man U?? This is all sporting directors only concerned about turning a profit

Talented player and incredible finishing/ coolness but no engine what so ever .. absolutely needs strong players around him, think the teams stronger with him wide right but Maresca likes real wide men and not full backs overlapping... Its becoming a big problem for the team and have looked vulnerable defensively in pretty much every game maybe with the exception of Villa at home ..
Starting to have serious doubts about Maresca's judgement and ability for the highest level to get consistent results and motivate the team.

People say Palmer looked “lost” yet he was providing great pass after great pass… what happens with the ball after he passes it is completely out of his control.

Chelsea need Roman Abramovich to sort this shambles out because he knows how to do so. 3:02

Man City sails appear to be filled with wind their sailboat looks great, you can’t count them out - they will be tacking and jibing that may fare well for Man City as we know the end of line is May

No this wasnt a difficult match no no ....if pep was playing against new castle or bournmouth he wouldnt start khusanov at diffense, ,,but because he knew chelsea would make mistakes he decided it was the best game to gamble

His never showed up in a big game. Great player but overrated.

Pep played this lineup because he's already decided who he needs to progress in the UCL. Pep wasn't going to risk an injury to Stones or Dias. Who must play in the UCL bc Khusanov/Reis cannot. "He played good 53 out of 58 minutes." So....Pep made a good risk. How do these 'professional pundits' not see this?

Chelsea were in the game until Sanchez made that error

I blame maresca based on tactics… this game maresca showed pep too much respect 🫡…I love Arteta because he doesn’t respect pep and his team on the pitch..
