They might never recover.. too much competition plus bad and greedy management can destroy a company. Bigger companies than this have failed.

I expect Intel to go through some very rough earnings calls for at least a couple more quarters with appropriate declines in price. I have a tiny DCA just to dip my toes in but I'll be looking for signs of a turnaround happening before I start buying the way I bought PayPal in the low $50s.

I’ve been hearing this about intel since they were in the mid 50s price range… intel is not a stock to buy now, perhaps in about 1.5-2 years from now or when it goes further down to about 12-ish range, then you can start to consider buying and averaging down from there, but those fabs are going to be a while before they are online and they can start to take market share from TSM. The IRA money is important and intel is becoming a national security concern, so its in the interest of the US gov for it not to fail, but not failing is a very different condition from that of succeeding. I would be a bit more patient before jumping in, way too many other successful options to put your money into now rather than throwing it this early into intel…

It's like so many of these people that comment don't understand the concept of diversify. If you don't have enough money to hold stock in multiple sectors, or your portfolio isn't seriously diversified then you shouldn't really have a portfolio. or at least just stick to ETF's

Can be, but why take so much risk. There are multiple safer stock to invest. This looks gambling to me.

I have some leaps at 22 strike, currently I am out of the money but until jan 26 many could change for the good of the shareholders!

I’ve just put $250, 000 into Intel (avg price $22). Agreed, this will either make me a multi millionaire within the next couple of years or it will tank 1/3rd of my portfolio. Game on

Excellent call. I was debating it saw your video and realized as much as they aren’t AMD… you are correct. You nailed it.

There were many "too big to fail" corporations in history, Kodak, Toy R Us, Polaroid, Blockbuster. Where are they now?

The deal of the century is coming. A giant chip company will possibly be created.

With competing bids, Intel is likely to be going for above 50% premium.

$50 and above for Intel ?

You are a loyal bag holder. Unfortunately the stock price will not love you back. Just look at the chart

You have to ask yourself how many shares did Patrick Gelsinger buy and sell … and what price he paid…. Think of how much compound interest Patrick will have.

With the separation foundries, laying off 15k people. All there new cpus seem to be canceled. No real innovation. Other companies are just leaving them behind by leaps and bounds at this point.

If they had focused on the foundries I really felt they had a solid come back option.

Also with Lip-Bu Tan leaving after saying that he disagreed with the layoffs not needing to be general layoffs and that they needed to focus on middle management to trim that fat.

There might be hope for Intel but their internal politics and bureaucracy is just ridiculous. Comparable that of the US Gov't but on a smaller scale. Great engineers but bad management at all levels not just CEO. I think a better investment is to build more TSMC fabs in the west if we want to protect against a China blockade of Taiwan.

I agree intel is too big to fail… if you are buying now, the evaluation is too cheap… I feel it’s a value trap… you can DCA now to bring your avg cost down
