Watching this in 2021 on a s21 ultra 5g.
The s2 was my first real "smartphone."
I was blown away when I got it. I remember thinking that there was no way phones could ever get quicker or that phone cameras could ever get better

I remember seeing this in a mall and I told my wife that I wanted one. she said, why do you need such a 'gigantic' screen. it was the best buying experience. the number of roms I've tried on this phone and switching back to stock rom. haha. i even bricked the phone and then connected the 1st and the 4th leads of the micro usb to revive it. no other phone has given me that amount of satisfaction. lol. it was fun back then and the Android community was very enthusiastic too. anyways, typing this on my OnePlus 3. haha

This was my first Android phone in 2012. And used it for 4 years. Thank you so much samsung galaxy s2. Without you i couldn't have been enjoy this much. What a memorable time and excitement in that moment was. I wish i could bring that time back and live again that moments with galaxy s2.

I have this phone since June 2011 and I am quite pleased with it, though the battery still lacks longevity. The fact that I am able to run Android 4.1.2 on it even after 2 years is quite amazing.

This was the phone that DEBUTED Samsung in the world of smartphone and ultimately gave it the crown. It's a Legend, and icon of how a smartphone should be. I remember that it's original ROM was the fastest and fluidest ROM of any smartphone, much faster than Apple's iOS. Everybody was talking about it and I got mine when the White version came out.
