Live from the WPIX studio at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel, this rare kinescope features interviews during the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. They broadcast interviews twice during July 12, but it's unclear if this was the afternoon or evening segment.

The first interview is with Frank ?, being interviewed by Rex Marshall (recognizable from his Autolite commercials later on the CBS show 'Suspense') .

This is followed by Ben Gross interviewing Evie Robert wife of Chip Robert, who had been treasurer of the Democratic National Committee and an assistant Secretary of the Treasury. Evie was a columnist and leading political hostess.

Following this is an interview with Georgia Lusk, the first female congressional representative from New Mexico; Katharine White, Democratic Party politician and diplomat, who served as Mayor of Red Bank, New Jersey from 1951 to 1956, chairwoman of the New Jersey Highway Authority (1955-1964), and United States Ambassador to Denmark (1964-1968), and Genevieve Blatt, who was the first woman to hold statewide elected office in Pennsylvania, when she was elected State Secretary of Internal Affairs. She also served as a PA Commonwealth Judge.

The segment finished up with a partial interview of the Young Democrats Club of America.

Enjoy this very rare piece of TV and political history!
