I've been a Mechanic for 42 years here on Earth, and the same thing happened to me with human females! I assume whether here on Earth or anywhere in the Galaxies, the same thing has happened wherever there are females and Mechanics, Gardeners, Plumbers or whatever...

Good Tale. How 'bout a mod/twist LIRA is a METAMORPH. Besides being LIRA she is also CLARA. Just as Hack is about to board the Ship, he and LIRA/CLARA touch hands and in his Mind's Eye, there is a flash of internal clarity wherein the Woman whose hand he understands that the Woman whose hand he has touched is truly both Women. A postscript. The New Nevada Gazette has two sad announcements in its' next edition. The newspaper's Police Log and its' Obits contsin sad and mysterious announcements. The paper sadly reports that two of the town's citizens seem to have just VANISHED without a trace. The Town's Mechanic and its' Doctor are not to be found. Some of their personal affects are still there, but some are indeed missing. The Fazetts posts a large monetary reward for any information that might bring these two good people back. Only the hardware store owner offers a small tight smile and does not say much.

listen you get a triple A for your story telling and technique. I don't like stories, and the glow of the fiction, and the finish in the storytelling. Fiction first class, at least that is my opinion...
