I've always used cheap drugstore pressed powders. Now in my 40s, I'm definitely finding it too drying. But I've never been great at working with liquid foundation and frankly, all the makeup is exhausting anymore. And the expectation that all of us women be makeup artists is simply unreasonable. I'm enjoying going makeupless whenever I can.

Laura Geller Baked and Brighten foundation is the best over moisturizer.

The Elf powder foundation, is also too drying for mature skin. Honestly, the best I have found, is the Laura Gellar Baked Balance and Brighten foundation. I just purchased my third!! (Its on sale right now too!!)

I think a tinted moisturizer would make a really good base for mature woman. It adds a little color and moisturizes as well.

No foundation for me, only tinted sunscreen. My ”mature” skin is still prone to breakouts. Ever since I quit wearing foundation my skin is healthy and glows. One foundation I’d LOVE to hear about is Oxygenetix, an Oxygenating Foundation that “breathes, protects, and heals as you wear it by using a unique aloe vera base.” My aesthetician uses it and swears by it! Please do a video on it. 😘
