We should send a message by quitting ALL trade with China

I am all for a full 500 billion dollar or more tariff. Put a hefty tariff on 100% of exports. That would cripple their economy for 50 years and it would only dent ours.

This episode happened 30 years ago. At the time, US was targeting at Japan for 'stealing' their IP. Since then Japan has lost roughly 30 years in term of economy growth. Now, it is China's turn. Only difference is, China is an independent country unlike Japan, there is no US troops on the soil of China. Will this end the same as previous one? I can hardly foresee that China will give up without a fight. Whether US prepared or not, how much effort US really put in, is waiting to be examined. Let's see.
