Inside the Haunted Tunnels of Japan

In Japan, you can't drive any significant distance without passing through a tunnel. And you can't talk about Japanese Tunnels without talking about all of the haunting and ghost stories that revolve around them. So that... is exactly what we are doing today.

Special Thanks to the Patreon crew for making this adventure possible:

And to Victor (Frame of Travel) for scaring off the ghosts!

„A lot of people mysteriously vanish in this tunnel“ - „Oh, cool! Let‘s go and have a look then!“

Probably someone‘s famous last words

I think the one in the forest is actually kind beautiful. With the moss and trees and everything being so green.

Never heard of a cemetery on an underpass before, that's unique to say the least.

Happy Halloween!

The tunnel with the cemetary on top intrigued me the most. The others I would visit - but only in the daytime. Night time makes everything 1000x scarier.
The lights out part was epic.. And now we know the real reason why you guys are making this trip - all so Victor can look in the mirror.
Speaking of which, you could literally hear the relief in your voice when you saw your reflection. I don't blame you either.

I think the old tunnel in the woods with the fog was probably the scariest one for me.

Of course Victor has to fight with the fact that those dark alcoves are just the right size for the odd bear lol

I would look in the mirror (wonder if part of the myth is actually you are standing in the middle of the road looking up at the mirror ... And hence are run over by the driver who is freaking out about having to drive through the tunnel!)

Looking forward to you and Victor's next adventure!

Really cool video... I need a Japanese thriller / horror movie set in and around some of those tunnels.

"We are here at night"
"All things considered, this is pretty creepy"

All things considered, that landscape is absolutely gorgeous. Almost every part of Japan is wallpaper-worthy, isn't it?
Thank you for the spook'ms~

Wow building a tunnel under a cemetery.
I'm trying to imagine what the workers who built the tunnel were feeling at the time.
Must be a pretty stressful job.

Great one Norm. The fog in that tunnel was epic. I’d love to explore them

When i saw that low-clearence tunnel i definitly DIDN`T expect Cars to go through there at all, that`s some next level stuff right there!
Also, building a Underpass underneath a Cemetary not only sounds like a Recipe for Hauntings, but it`s also such a Japanese thing to to in my opinion. At least in my Country they would have just relocated the Graves to another Cemetary or possibly removed them alltogether, but this is definitly an unconventional Solution.
