When Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) distinguishes himself as the postal academy’s worst student, he is stationed on a frozen island above the Arctic Circle, where the feuding locals hardly exchange words let alone letters. I'm a harsh critic, especially when it comes to children's movies and even more so when it comes to Christmas films. I don't tend to like them. That said, this was one of the best kid's movies I've seen in a long time, and easily one of the best Christmas movies I've ever seen in my life.
