The fact Carl apparently never went through puberty is probably the most accurate aspect of the show. That's not just something that happens, its a whole collection of environmental factors including nutrition. The group has probably been living on a survival level diet for almost a decade, so physiologically Carl's body never would have gotten one of the major signals to start puberty. Yet the kid still managed to be more of a badass than basically anyone else except Negan the sociopath.

Here's what I dint get...

Dr. Jenner ( not Bruce identifying as a Doctor) says all traces of humanity are gone when you turn, and Milton tries and FAILS in an experiment to see if there are any lingering traces of memory on a person once they turn.

But in the the very first episode, "Days gone bye", the first walker we see is a little girl who stops to pick up her teddy bear?

She's the only walker in the entire 5 seasons to shoe any sort of recognition or attachment . does that mean something or is that writers error?
