✈Overview:
*Wingspan 889mm / 35"
*Length 1080mm / 42.5"
*Radio 3 Function (Throttle and Tailerons)
*AUW 1300g / 2.9lbs
*Fan Size 4S, 70mm (Min 1150g Thrust)
*LiPo 4S, 3300mAh ~ 4500mAh 60C

It is probably one of the most iconic strike attack aircraft of the 20th century and a model we have wanted to do for a long time. Although not VTOL, this model is a real joy to build and fly and very easy to hand launch.

Unlike the recent midi jet designs, where the wings were made of solid sheet balsa, this is a built-up wing with one of our tried-and-tested wing sections. Although not a perfect scale representation, as we have used a single 70mm 4S edf and ducted straight to the rear of the model, we are sure that even the most discerning scale modellers out there should be pretty pleased with this offering.

The plans are full-size and reproduced on a large sheet of quality paper.

As with all our models, Vac formed parts,a CNC pack and wood pack to complete the model, are available. Further items including 3D printed pilots and dummy exhaust nozzles, are also available.

The CNC pack includes all fuselage formers, fuselage side parts, the tail and fin pieces, the wing ribs plus additional pieces. Finally, to assist the building of this model, we have made available free down loads of a set of build photos.

Hey Chris, I was trying to tell ya but you were not listening. 😂 I was saying you need a left and right but those are the same. Lol happens to the best of us. Happy building man!

Chris, you're not alone in building two same sides! Gotta say, your choice of finish for your Harrier will be, as the 'yoof' are moved to say... SICK! If I ever build one of these, I'm afraid I'm going to have to shamelessly copy you. Excellent choice 👍👍

Cheers Dad for showing the mistakes which we ALL make in this hobby. There's nothing wrong with making mistakes as they are all learning that's cool that you go to the same field as Dom from Essential RC. Looks like a great place to fly! Have a great weekend.

Better to make two of the same side now before you start the wings! Don't worry about it we've all done it 😁

One of them things Chris it happens better to do it now then when it's lresdy glued on the plane 🙈😉👍

Chris don't worry about the weak balsa, the glassing will sort that out.
Glass cloth and epoxy resin is ridiculously strong so don't add more wood to strengthen it, keep the weight down as much as poss.
It's looking great and don't worry about building 2 of the same side, no one will ever know 😉.

As you were sticking them down I was thinking....are you sure Chris?? I did the same thing making a wing on the Sopwith Pup. :)

I think I knew this based on the build but it’s a harrier in name/shape only, not vertical take off..still a cool plane…I think I would add landing gear. Regarding building the sides the same (one backwards), we have all done that and I know I will again. Crack on.
