Streamers PISSED As Twitch Recap REMOVES Them

Twitch has apparently deleted Ludwig, TimTheTatman, and DrLupo from their yearly Twitch Recap after they made the move to YouTube late this year.

Ludwig set a massive subscriber record on Twitch this year before recently signing a deal with YouTube…but if you are looking at your yearly Twitch recap, you’d never know it…because Twitch has erased the record holder from their yearly review. And while Ludwig says he understands the decision from a business standpoint, he was still disappointed to be gone after being part of the biggest story on Twitch this year.

Likewise, if you are looking for TimTheTatman or DrLupo, you are also out of luck, as Twitch seems to be erasing all signs of them as well from the recap after they jumped ship to YouTube late in the year. TimTheTatman had spent nearly a decade on the Twitch platform, and DrLupo was part of their biggest ever charity fundraisers, so seeing them gone as well sparked a lot of fan outrage.

So while it’s understandable Twitch might not want to promote the competition, pretending these huge names were never there during a year they did so much for the purple platform before signing YouTube deals seems to have sparked a lot of outrage among Twitch viewers.

This should just validate their decision moving to YT even stronger.

Twitch just can't help but put themselves in situations where it seems like their Management is a bunch of Petty Man-Children who can't handle the reality that they are no longer the #1 streaming website.

Twitch: is the reason streamers are leaving

Also twitch: time to be petty

Sure those 3 aren't on twitch anymore. But they still at least have their accounts there. It's not like they were banned so theres really no reason to completely erase them from the recaps like they did.

Remember when Ludwig said he didn't feel loved by Twitch. Yeah, it's not just you Lud, they don't love anyone except Alinity and Amouranth.

Twitch does business like spurned ex lovers. It doesn't make sense because someone leaves for another platform doesnt mean they would never come back.

Businessess exist to 1. Make money, 2. Make money, 3. Make money. Why would they advertise for someone that could draw money away from Twitch? I hate twitch but its the right thing for them to do. people need to wake up to the real world.

Imagine how much money these streamers made twitch… that alone makes this insane.

Personal feelings aside, if you look at it from a pure business standpoint, it does make sense. Why would they want to promote another platform if they are in competition? Not sure why people are so mad over it

I mean...I've never gotten employee of the year at a company I don't work for any longer. I get why people are bummed but when you leave a company you don't get awards from them anymore typically. They will do more promoting current creators.

It's just how it is guys.

imagine not recognizing and thanking the big streamers that made you a boat load of money in 2021. doesnt matter if they left you.

It’s a marketing email to market the Twitch platform… why would they show people who now solely work for their competitors? It’s not a “celebration of the year Twitch had” or however it was branded, but a piece of material meant to engage community members to continue consuming Twitch content.
Not that hard to understand.

People are so soft. Twitch not including those who left is such a non-issue.

Twitch is like that ex that is pissed that you left him/her but didn't do anything to keep you or even try to.

Biggest L Twitch did is Remove Dr Lupo. That man saved so many kids and helped so many families and that tells you they don’t care about you just the money

Kinda the same concept of an NBA player that moves to a different team. The old team usually makes them a highlight reel if they had a strong impact on the team.

Imagine breaking up with your gf/bf and then you get pissed when they delete you outta their profile pics. 🤣

Twitch is not promoting a competitor ‪— it’s not personal, it’s business.

I’m not defending twitch at all. Just looking at it from a logical view.

I hate how this channel tries to take both sides. If you’re trying to stay neutral take no sides and just give us the information so we can decide which side to take.
