Hey Pete!! Thanks for another great review and one that helps me out. I just found this kit on ebay for $8.46 plus $6.00 shipping (USD). Never did an IBG kit before so this is the first. I've been looking around for a BMW w/sidecar as a stand alone item in the big refugee diorama I'm working on, but all I found was the old Tamiya kit which given the age of the molds (1970's) is still going for premium prices!! 😲😤 .I love the detail of this kit even though some of it is a bit over engineered in my opinion, but its LIGHT YEARS ahead of the old Tamiya. Looking forward to getting this in the Post in the next few weeks. Thanks for helping me decide! Cheers mate! 🇦🇺👍😎

June 13, 2022---Thanks for the kit review as I bought of them some time last year but haven't even started 'em. Also got various WW 2 motorcycles by Tamiya & Italeri. Also got a couple of Tamiya's JSDF dirt bikes and other, modern bikes in 1/32 scale as diecast ones. Got back into modeling, but going for realistic 1/35 scale, zombie/apocalypse dioramas and the bad part of my new interest is lack of MODERN bikes in this scale, which is why I went with a lot of WW 2 bikes. I also saw a post WW 2 diorama where a G.I. has "acquired" a German bike, but it's painted red & white! REALLY sharp looking bike. Dad was with Patton's army during WW 2 and did occupation duty for a bit and I have a B&W photo of him seated on his German bike.
Figured motorcycles would make a good survival vehicle and started/almost finished Tamiya's Zundap(?) w/sidecar. Found some YT videos on what the real bikes look like, including the sidecar and storage area behind it. Off the subject, also have 3 of Bronco's British ATV's that come with a trailer, this way I can do a combo diorama and maybe even toss in some 1/32 diecast 4x4 vehicles or military surplus vehicles like the 2.5 ton truck in 1/35 scale.

After reading all of the comments and replies you guys have made me determined to buy one of these kits! Who wants a "shake and bake" kit anyway? Wish me luck.

Hey Pete, it's me again. I just started building this kit last night (Finally! )and was wondering if you'd gotten around to building it yourself, and what your impressions of the kit and the build was. Hope you have a safe and happy Christmas! Best regards, Hans C. Charles👍🎅👍
