It's not like there's a manual for how to manage the world. The philosophical president has an observer style which left a vacuum for the others to act. Within his own triumphalist narrative he's done a great job because it felt right to him. Meanwhile, parts of the world are on fire.

Wow, and Trump is taking credit for this. Obama was trying to make other countries to take more responsibility for their own country, and Trump is making it appear that this wa his idea.
