Salmon and Halibut Fishing Ketchikan Alaska // Baranof Fishing Excursion #alaska #fishing

While pondering what to do for the long holiday weekend since my girlfriend was out of town I decided to book a salmon and halibut fishing charter with Baranof Fishing Excursions in Ketchikan Alaska on 7/5/21. One of the best things I could have done to be frank. I ended up going out on the morning charter (7am) and was fortunate enough to have met Jim (our guide) and Bob and Mary (my cohorts from out of town). We fished approximately 40-50 minutes south of Ketchikan and caught several halibut and pink salmon. There is an abundance of world class fishing in Ketchikan Alaska and it is possible to catch rock fish, yellow eye, lingcod, king salmon, silver salmon, sockeye and more! One heck of an experience and I cant recommend Baranof fishing enough!
