How about the TIF Procedure as an alternative? TIF Procedure is supposed to be less invasive Proceedure, TIF stands for Transdoral Incisionless Fundoplication.

Hello, my reflux symptoms go away at night and get worse throughout the day. Mostly a "crop" feeling in my throat, and some days I have no symptoms. I have a herniated stomach they found and wanted to do the fundoplastic surgery but it was to agressive to me. LINX sounds way better and less complicated and can be reversed I believe? I live in Belgium but they don't do linx here. Can I get the operation in UK?

Since acid reflux begins in the stomach, I don’t understand how this improves the inflammatory response of the stomach. If there’s still an inflammatory response happening in the stomach, how does the Linx stop that? Also, you need to be able to burp. Can you burp with a Linx implant?
