I hear so much about too many buttons on the console.  But if you know what they are, it isn't confusing at all.  Half the buttons on both side of the stick are redundant heating and cooling buttons for the driver and passenger, and accept for Sport Mode, most of the others wont be touched very often at all.  And if you leave the system in Auto, you wont have to do anything except adjust the temp.  All the buttons make it look like an airplane cockpit (which I like), especially at night, and are very easy to use one you understand them.  I have a 2016 Macan S.

Having owned over 32 cars in my lifetime, I can truly say that my Macan S is the best I've ever owned. I can only say there's only one better, and that's the GTS. I want it in red with chromo package, beige interior with walnut scherkly's, black 21inch wheels and low mileage. Anyone got one?

Well My wife always wanted one.
Coming from a q53.0l the macan turbo does it all. Quiet family car or when alone you can drive it as good as a 911.
The air suspension is a must it glides. Q5 has nothing on this.

best SUV on the market but right now on Autotrader there 106 for sales in the UK and the lowest priced is £46, 850!! so I am looking at the Evoke which I know is not as good

Tough choice between Evoque and Macan for me.
I like both for each their strengths. Just depends which way Im leaning the week of Ordering I suppose.
Any Macan owners thoughts welcome to reply... primarily what do you believe is the cars biggest weakness if any? Is it comfortable to drive long distances in your opinion?

Ive test driven one briefly. Did not spend enough time to make a full assessment on comfort.

The price buts most buyers of even second hand these vehicles are bloody expensive 'one good thing is it holds onto its value really well 63 per cent after 3 year a witch is brilliant 'so the McCann buyer won't lose much money great 'it's buying it in the first place thats the hard bit stevie

watch out for failed torque converters around 50-60k miles...$4-5k repair bill on that one. they also put a gaudy chrome trim around the transmission/climate controls that blinds you and your passengers...the seats aren't very impressive either

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The customer services at Porsche is a nightmare! Treat you like a sheep, they help you when they are ready and then screw you for every penny you have. Look elsewhere, because after you pay for your macan you will be screwed.
