When Tara won her gold metal you would have thought Hunter won and when Hunter won his gold metal you would have thought Tara won. These two are true examples of couples goals no jealousy just love. GOLDEN COUPLE!! I still remember when I first came across Hunter's channel and I found it super inspiring. I'm a musician who has dealt with chronic tendonitis since high school, and seeing someone like Hunter achieve his dreams even as a double amputee makes me feel like I can do anything. I used to feel like I was never going to be able to be the player that my brain could be cause my hands just don't cooperate. But man, I saw the way Hunter, a guy who was told as a youngin he might never WALK, has attacked and achieved his track dreams, and that shit gets me so fired up! Along the way, he's introduced me and the rest of his fans to Tara, and I feel like the entire sports world has fallen in love with these two superhumans who are also superb people.
I used to feel like ever since my tendonitis first got bad, I'd never be anything more than a mediocre bass player. Over the years, I've taught myself piano, guitar, learned to sing, and stuff like this kept me going at times when I felt like I was about to hit my limit. I'm so happy for all their success, couldn't happen to two better people. GO TEAM USA AND THANK YOU HUNTER AND TARA FOR BEING YOURSELVES!!!
