Mitch McConnel, for example, has done absolutely nothing for the people of Kentucky for nearly 40 years in Congress, and the rest of the Republican contingent has dutifully followed suit.

Is this taking more than 5 minutes? This is sickening. As a citizen I'm interested in our representatives working on running the country.

If I post a drawing of me hurting my neighbour or acquaintance I would expect to be taken to the nearest police station, then before a judge judge and be formally warned, fined and issued a restraint order within a few hours.
I would not expect my employer to need to be the first to get involved. We should not be privatising civil safety or civil order.
