Nice bit of wet weather spotting there! Also noticed the additional flight information included at the beginning :) So long OJO! Wasn't a bad livery for her to wear until retirement.

Nice video! It is sad to see the numbers of these iconic aircraft declining :(

Thanks! Yes I have been adding flight details where I can now because I think my subscribers enjoy knowing that info. :) I agree, very nice livery to send her off! :)

I only spot in the rain when there is something good I'm after, you will see in a few videos time. I knew this was meant to arrive that morning so I was expecting it and made me want to spot in the rain more. Yes, aircraft was withdrawn from use and retired a couple weeks ago. :(

I don't see the need to retire them yet when we haven't received any of the 787-9's..

Wow! Such a lovely livery! Is it still around?

Woops, I've lost track of time recently, thanks for date correction. Yes it is sad, I really like Qantas' 747 fleet, there will on be 3 Roller engined 747's left in 2013, 7 all together when you include ER's. :(

You might want to fix up the description, you said it was retired May 2012 :P and I know, its sad isn't it? Seeing all the 747-400's disappear..

Yeah i know.. I've seen them just sitting there a lot when i go past it! They took off so many international routes its not funny!!

Qantas is shrinking, they cut a whole lot of flights especially international and many layoffs. If you go to Qantas Jetbase at Sydney Airport you will see around 3 or 4 747s atleast always there because there are no longer many flights they are needed for. :(
