My daddy cat always got in with mom and helped deliver the babies and clean them up afterwards. After he was fixed, he still did it with foster moms. Best dad cat ever.

Awww!! When I was a kid a male cat who sorta belonged to the neighborhood, technically a stray but he was a bit like Tramp (multiple homes, very smart, self sufficient), he brought us three lost kittens. We don’t think they were even his, but he didn’t harm them, and evidently he knew we’d know what to do for them so he made sure we got them. He also regularly attended my and my sister’s birthday parties. Like, bunches of squealing, sugar-high girls, and he didn’t even bat an eye. Shout out to all the Tom cats who break the rules!

I know an adult male cat who, when his owner got a stray kitten, became very paternal when he's never been a dad before. It was very sweet.

We had a daddy cat that would stand guard over mum and babies. He would fall asleep sitting up and when the babies cried he immediately became concerned and bathed them 🥺❤️

We used to have some stray cats around our house (rural mountain area). We already had four, so couldn't take any more inside. There was a pair, a mom and the daddy of the kittens (we assumed because the kittens looked just like each one of them. The daddy cat would babysit the kittens while the mother took a nap on our porch swing! He would play and cuddle with them and bathe them while she was sleeping! Best cat dad in the world!

My Anakan when his babies didn't even have their eyes open would go give my Babygirl, the mama, a break and go lay in the box and get his babies all to sleep for her while she got her needed break. Then as they grew older, play with them and babysit as often as she called him over. She is gone now, and even as old as he is, and the two sons I have of theirs, still settles their disagreements and bathes them both. Even though they are much larger than him, they still mind their Daddy. ❤

They say this about dogs too, the biggest dog can become unbelievably gentle. Just like anything that has limbs, there are good dad's and ones that aren't interested

My aunt had a hound dog that would walk a mile down the road every day to go get his puppies. He would bring them home and play with them and love them. I mean there was like 8 of them! It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I love this. It makes me feel 😊.

I had a male from the same Mother as another litter 2 years later..He would always babysit when Mom left his siblings. He'd get right in the box if she left it. She'd come back and He'd get out..and she'd always wash his face when he was leaving. Sweet family vibes.❤
