This works, but you have to set it up properly on the person’s computer you want to shut down, you need the private IP or computer name than you need to enable remote registry, and a few more things, then it should work.

You didn't even say that the user needs an IPv4 address for target PC first before attempting a remote shutdown. Also if the computer is already off or has some administrator settings enabled, the GUI will just freeze or an error will appear on command prompt. Also, the shutdown GUI is more restrictive of what you can do (probably so it won't get abused) and you can only set 3 different shutdown modes instead of the like 14 available, so it's just better to write out the code and execute it from CMD instead of the GUI (CMD allows you to do literally the same exact thing but only 1 IP at a time).
It's also just more convienient for coders to have a written out script to execute said shutdown (ex. shutdown /r /t 25 /c "ur an idiot") in notepad and saved as a .bat file.

You obviously don't understand how the /shutdown feature in Windows 10 works as you most likely just typed /help to see that wall of commands and found shutdown listed, or you just looked up a video, watched 3 seconds of it and assumed that was it. There is a process that goes into doing these things, but since you have no knowledge of such features, you misled people and didn't show it. Some of your other videos also do this thing where you sound like you don't even know what you're talking about, which is a problem, especially when handling things like CMD.

We did this all the time in the late 90s, early 00s for fun. Just had to make sure you turned off their firewall or punch a hole. Fun times. Another fun one was remotely replacing the you got mail sound with farts, maxing their volume, and waiting for them to come back where we'd all send non-stop emails laughing our asses off.
