Man I love how you're showing us the stuff that actually matters. The reviewers keep posting the same thing, a lot of them even mess up saying the 40mp to 12mp is a downgrade. This is refreshing and I'm happy with the speaker test you've showed. I'm looking forward to leaving my s22u for a 23 because of you!

For most games, nearly all, the extra GPU on the S23U is overkill, though great for future-proofing. But for casual gamers, most games can easily hit the limit (60FPS) without sweating. Even Genshin is now hitting 60FPS on most flagship 2023 phones.

6:32, they did improve the vapor chamber by making it wider. They mentioned that in the keynote and the press release, but it's not on the gaming phones' level yet!

Comming from a UK, Exynos S21 Ultra, I can see from this video that the new phone is going to be a massive upgrade when I use it for gaming. Thanks for getting this video out pretty quickly it's the first one i've seen showing gameplay on the S23 Ultra

Usually Samsungs don't perform 100% the first week or so, so I can definitely see Genshin hitting 60FPS consistently after your full review comes out. Great video buddy! Hopefully next time you show temperatures for each game

5:20 I feel Samsung could've done better on the cooling side. Redmagic 7 is able to achieve 60fps constantly with the snapdragon gen-1!!

I'm glad that you mentioned that you've got the 256gb version with 8gb of RAM and properly showed us what it can do. This is the version most will get, and you save others on the fence about the 512/12gb version (me included) quite a bit of money!
I can't believe they didn't have 12gb as standard. 12gb was standard on the s21!

It'll be interesting to see if you switch the power usage from optimized to maximum and then maybe switch GOS off to see the benchmarks, cause some people been getting 5, 000 multi core in the S23U.

The performance upgrade in general seems to be quite large compared to last year. I'm impressed. Single core is almost 30% faster than my S22 Ultra (Yes, I have the Snapdragon model, I live in the US), that is an insane increase from just one generation. I love my S22 Ultra though, I'll probably upgrade next year to the S24 Ultra. I hope Samsung keeps those performance upgrades up.

the later maps on GENSHIN are more demanding, so I would suggest testing on those if you are able to (and maybe emulation although I know it gets touchy with some companies and youtube)

I'm under the agreement that emulation performance is really the best way to test gaming performance on phones.

Because of vapour chamber cooling system in gaming it will be good even they used Exynos it would run fine
