My PragerU subscriber story - First I started out by pressing "skip ad" - for many months thinking PragerU would be just some contrived "progressive" controlled opposing narrative. Then I was curious enough and watched one of the ads thinking, that's pretty good. That made me watch another one eventually. And then I stopped skipping the ads for a while before just subscribing. Eventually I am sure to be a contributor through donations. Thanks PragerU for the work that you do - especially to the great speakers that you have!

My parents are old timey Liberal Democrats (before the madness), so I used to blindly agree with whatever had a title Democrat, oblivious of the consequences; that changed after I started high school. It started with seeing a video of Ben Shapiro.
I had been conflicted on political divides and came across a short clip of a video of Shapiro on the subject of Transgenderism. I didn't agree with the idea a man is a woman if he wants to, biology = gender, but that idea was denounced by both my Mom and Older Sister, calling me unaccepting and disrespectful. When it came to most political matter, I was the outlier [In a class debate on Police Brutality, I was the only one who was against the idea back people were being unproportionally killed by police, 1 vs 38 misinformed students, and was screamed at and cursed for using facts while I kept my cool]. But, after the clip, I later looked up who Ben is and found many videos of his speeches and soon on the Daily Wire. Because of the what happened, I slowly slid towards the right side.
One day, I came across a video recommended to me with Ben as the featured person under a channel called PragerU. I became "addicted", for lack of a better word, to the content produced by this channel. I have used the stats used in the videos as counterarguments numerous times in debates and grew to be a better and more effective debater, and honestly a better and more confident person, based on the advice and research found in the videos. So if not for PragerU, I might have been a person who agreed with every other politically correct person in my classes because I might've feared I was wrong for thinking even the slightest differently.

When the whole 2016 election started I didn’t know a thing about politics. I was only a freshman in high school. After watching a lot of my left wing friends protest their beliefs I started to think like them, but later I found PragerU. Honestly PragerU has taught a lot more than any left wing movement would have. I feel like I know how to act like a real man who can think for himself. Now I not afraid to protest my love for America. Thanks.

As a Conservative, PragerU give me hope for the young people who will be running this country after I'm gone. This channel should be required watching in every school in America.
