Heather: *shakes hands with Naya, smiling* I’m really glad you came Miss Rivera-Williams..
Naya: *sighs deeply and rolls her eyes a bit* Yeah yea.. whatever.. *sits down and crosses her legs*
Heather: *sits down as well, grabs her map and opens it*
Naya: *looking at it and frowns* Why is there a picture from me in it?
Heather: I have a lot of clients Miss.. I would like to know who I get in front of me when I have an appointment..
And I always read what I wrote the previous appointment before I start..
Naya: So what did ya wrote about me?
Heather: *makes a soft giggle* Nothing much actually.. You didn’t tell me that much..
Naya: *shrugs*
Heather: Okay first of all! How do you feel?
Naya: You want an honest answer? or a polite one?
Heather: A honest answer please..
Naya: I feel miserable..
Heather: *writes it down, looks up* And can you explain that to me? or better say.. do you wanna explain that to me?
Why are you feeling bad Miss?
Naya: *shrugs and crosses her arms* Because I have to be here..
Heather: So you are feeling bad because of me?
Naya: Yes.
Heather: Hm.. interesting..
Naya: How the fuck can that be interesting? *frowns*
Heather: Well… because you don’t feel miserable because of me.. but you feel bad because the whole situation..
You are feeling bad because it isn’t going well with your husband and I don’t know maybe some other things in your life..
And because of that you need to come here.. But your comment has a whole story..
Naya: *laughs a bit sarcasticly* Oh yeah ofcourse… You’re a therapist… You can read minds.. of course you know what I feel..
Heather: I don’t know how you feel Miss.. I just try to figure it out.. I have some questions for you if that’s okay..
Naya: Under one condition..
Heather: *surprised* Yes?
Naya: For every question you ask, I can ask one back..
Heather: This is not about me Miss.. we are here for you.. not me..
Naya: Then *rolls her eyes* ‘Miss Morris’ I don’t answer your questions.. *shrugs*
Heather: *takes a deep breath, writes something down as she speaks* Okay then.. I will answer some of your questions as well..
Naya: *nods her head* Good.
Heather: Okay let’s start.. Did you have a good childhood?
Naya: Yes.
Heather: Can you a little more specific?
Naya: Why did you become a therapist?
Heather: We are first gonna talk about my question Miss..
Naya: Answer mine first..
Heather: *writes something down*
Naya: What the hell are you writing all the time?
Heather: *smiles slightly* Just the fact that you’re a little stubborn *winks*
Naya: Worry about yourself! now answer my question..
Heather: *smiles a bit* Okay well… I became a therapist because I care a lot about people.. and I wanna help them to become a better person..
or to help them with their problems.. all kind of problems.. from marriage problems to problems with Sex.. Just that actually..
Naya: Why would anyone talk about sex with you?
Heather: Uh-uh no no.. it’s my turn Miss..
Naya: *rolls her eyes and sighs* I was raised by my mum, my dad died when I was like 3 years old or so.. But my mum is a really strong woman so I never missed that ‘man’ figure in my life.. my mum was both… I mean of course I missed my dad.. but I love my mum so much!
And she still is the most important woman in my life.. When John and I are fighting I go to my mum most of the times.. she’s like my mum and my best friend!
Heather: *smiles as Naya suddenly shows so much emotions* that’s nice to hear Nay.. *stops herself* Oh i’m sorry..
Naya: *sighs deeply* No it’s okay.. you can call me Naya.. *crosses her arms again and looks at the floor*
Heather: Thanks, Naya.. *smiles*
