This album was such a big part of my teenage years in the 80s . I didn't suffer from depression then but through this band I understood it. Now I'm in my late 40s I dont understand it but listening to joy division/new order makes feel I'm not alone.

Dreamy, tasty and generous. Peter used an unusual vibe here, playing on volume of the notes. The structure stays unpredictable and the guitars are juste crazy. Superb gem, the missing link between Means to an End and Blue Monday...

I used to bring this to high end stereo stores to test speakers. Once that low end upward swoop starts, you can easily tell the better speakers. There should be no bass distortion and the upper end should be crystal clear.
