Here's the website I used for the words:
If you're on a mobile phone, click "Settings" to pick Latin if you like.

The Little Office is designed to be sung. Speaking through the words first helps you get the hang of the pronunciation. It's like learning to walk before you run. I have more videos on singing the Little Office.

hello..could you explain how many versions of latin revisions are there in the roman church...AS FAR AS I SEARCHD I UNDERSTOOD THE THE OLDEST BEING VETUS LATINA (OLD LATIN/ITALA) which st Jerome used to form the LATIN VULGATE ...which is used for the first English translation DOUAY RHEIMS(fr Gregory Martin in 1582 ans 1609, 1610)
then in and around this same period which I am not sure really, REVISIONS LIKE SIXTUS VULGATE(destroyed after his death), SIXTUS CLEMENTINE VULGATE were realised following the council of Trent declaring the latin vulgate (REFERRING TO the st Jerome latin vulgate )as authoritative ..
my question is did challoner use the latin Vulgate of st Jerome or the post Trent clementine vulgate for translation or did he refer only to the first English translation of the DR(which is nothing but translation of latin Vulgate of st Jerome unlike "revision" in case of challoner )

I have this thought on my mind because dr.william von Peterson has released transliteration of the first DR ...its totally different from the vhalloner revision with annotations and readings for the liturgy ...if that's the first bible then we no longer read the Bible of st Jerome as cardinal wiseman told...

Hi,
The hymn on marker 8:27, do you have a recording of that sung or the Lauds sung. I couldn’t find it on Spotify. May God Bless you! After going a few months of just reading the Little Office of the BVM in English, I’m just now moving into hymns in Latin. Thank you, thank God.
