The disrespect on essendon is insane, im all in at 2.20 odds, Freo are not even that good, Essendon have a under rated mid-field and it will rip freo apart

I did some research after someone I knew asked me a question.
Geelong and Sydney, the grand finalists of last year have possibility of both missing the finals this year.
Only 4 times in VFL/AFL history this ever happened before.
1945, 1946, 1962 and 1963.

1945, Fitzroy and Richmond from 1944 Grand Final both missed the final 4 in 1945.
1946, Carlton and South Melbourne from 1945 Grand Final both missed the final 4 in 1946.
1962, Hawthorn and Footscray (Western Bulldogs) from 1961 Grand Final both missed the final 4 in 1962
1963, Essendon and Carlton from 1962 Grand Final both missed the final 4 in 1963.

If both Geelong and Sydney miss the finals this year in 2023, it will be the first since the Final 8 was established in 1994 and the first time under the AFL banner since 1990.

If you want to relive the Swans glory years, you can't go wrong with 2005 and 2006 when Sydney and West Coast played off in two epic Grand Finals.

Essendon are not bad at all, we are probably top 3 when we are our best. People think we are bad becuase no one actually watches our games

Tipping against your own team isn't a bad thing. If they win, you are happy because they won. And if they lose, you get the points. I won a work tipping comp one year and almost always tipped against my team, because being realistic they were crap that year. In their own way they helped me out by not winning lol.

I had a shocker in Round 14. Possibly my worst ever Round of Footy Tipping ever. I have gone from winning the Golden Cap in Round 3 to the Wooden Spoon in Round 14. Believe it or not I tipped the Draw in Round 1 and that's something no one can take away from me. I will take the wins where I can get them. I think my goal now is to win as many Golden Caps as I can.
Also I tipped the exact same except for one tip. I tipped Fremantle

West coast have players coming back from injury’s lol. Still not everyone but at least some players

North will get wins against west coast again and possibly upset a couple teams like maybe saints, hawks, Essondon and maybe Richmond

Lions to hopefully beat Saints

tipping because you want teams to win or lose to help ladder position for your own team is just silly, you have to tip with your head not your heart, sentiment does not win tipping comps.

GC over Hawthorn by 40? Oh Rob, Rob, Rob.... you've clearly not been paying attention to the Hawks over the past month or so. We've beaten 2 top 8 teams and outscored the league leaders in the second half of that game. We might not be able to sustain our form and go down to the Suns, but 40 points is a bit disrespectful. Other than that, I like your tips 😉

Why were you worried about the Swans they were never gonna lose that game. 171 points you've gotta be happy with that. The West Coast team this year is the worst team ive ever seen in my 30 years of watching AFL footy and I've seen Fitzroy's last season.
