Recently read a post of a mother who lit her daughter's rapist on fire. Too many times justice fails us, and I thought she was super badass for taking matters into her own hands instead. Fortunately the guy didn't immediately die but suffered in the hospital for days before passing away. And unfortunately she did go to prison for it, but let's face it she was probably considered a legend in there as well.

My auntie went to jail for 6 months for shooting her daughters killer in the head 6 times. Needless to say, the whole family is proud except my other aunt who thinks she “disgraceful”🙄

how do i say…this is the single most primal feeling ever felt by a mother i’m not even kidding. growing up in a third world country, as kids we experienced a lot of robbers and shootings, both my parents worked for the government’s opposition and we were constantly in a state of fleeing. my mom was so scared for our(4 kids😫) safety and bought a gun. One night when my youngest sibling was WEEKS old a robber broke into our house and i remember my mom putting us all in her closet and locking her door, me and my older brother were so scared for our mom, we were old enough to understand someone had broken in, i remember hearing my mom saying “stop moving or you will die” in spanish n wow…i’ll never forget that day, she was ready for whatever because of us.

A mother from my city shot a man who molested her son. She shot him in the groin, in the parking lot across the street from the police station. She was arrested but jury didn’t indict her. There is no way to explain the innate protection that a mother has for her child.
