Saroo's story is one of the most interesting lifestories I've ever heard.

I think lion should have been given the Oscar for the best film. So much of a good message that reached the human heart and spirit.

I love his mother Sue Brierly and his dad for being amazing, loving parents to him. His biological mother's words, "Don't cry, I give you my son, he is your son", they are so touching. God bless this family!

It's a shame no one seems to be making a bigger deal of the child protection issues shown in the film, that are as real as his story and sadly so very actual still to this day!

Nothing but love for this masterpiece of a movie. I can't remember having cried so much during a movie. Especially the scenes at the railroad track where he "sees" his brother again and the dramatic music plays, powerfull stuff! The Aussie couple did some superb work in adopting and raising this guy. Faith in humanity restored....

Such a lovely story, how lucky was he to have been adopted by such a lovely family, it restores my faith in the human race.

I also am adopted and looked for my birth mother who I never found but knew till I was 7 years old. I have also had a wonderful life. I recently found her grave but she had passed over many years ago. Best of luck to Saroo and Sue. You have an amazing story. Much love to you both!

I think they should make a sequel portraying Mantosh's life. I think it would be a good way for him to heal. His story crushed me more than Saroo's but I am glad they showed Mantosh's struggles. It shows how adoption really isn't rosy, Saroo was very lucky.
