World famous thermal spa/baths

Landlocked Hungary is known as the "City of Spas" because it has more than 1,300 hot springs, of which 123 are in Budapest alone. However, Hungarians' concept of a "spa" extends beyond facials; for over 2,000 years, medical professionals have employed the mineral-rich spring water, which is high in zinc and magnesium, to cure skin conditions. Hungarian thermal baths are renowned for its magnificent architecture, revitalizing indoor and outdoor. Visitors come there to play chess and go on dates. Attendees travel there for meetings. This is not an anomaly. All of them visit the thermal baths.
Dating to 1571, the Rudas Thermal Bath is located in Buda in the shadow of the stately Buda Castle and is one of Budapest's four 16th-Century Turkish baths — dazzling with artistic elements including Ottoman domes and an octagonal pool.
With a staggering 18 thermal pools, the Széchenyi Thermal Bath is one of the biggest spa complexes in Europe and is situated in Pest's beautiful City Park.
