Here's a simple recipe to make brownies:

Ingredients:
1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
1 cup (200g) sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup (40g) cocoa powder
1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in 30-second intervals until fully melted.
Mix sugar, eggs, and vanilla: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Add dry ingredients: Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until fully combined.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
Cool: Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
