Maple is all recovered from her surgery 🥰 and she handled everything so well— from the vet visits to the recovery and getting her stitches out, she is our brave girl 🫶 She is back to her old-self and free from the cone!

I love dogs and cats. This is the first time in my life, though, where everyone has gone, after many years of wonderful joy and happy memories, I am terribly bereft and don't want to just run and freak about it, so I am trying to do things (like travel) before I adopt rescue dogs again
But I just love the company of a bunch of dogs. I had the best times with them...I'm so happy your beautiful baby is going to be ok, never worry, just enjoy every moment, especially the happy nothing times when you're all piled on the bed together, snoring. The best trip we ever took with them was to South Padre in Texas with three huge dogs and the only room we could get was in a very shabby hotel room directly above the bar (noisy, but no one could hear the pups barking), it turned out great!! We played on the beach, came back, got cocktails and great burgers from the bar, watched tv and napped during the boiling afternoons, then ran out to the ocean to play in the early evenings and morning (sand can be way too hot for pets, always bring booties or take them out before or after the heat of the day if you live in a boiling hot summer location). I'll never forget the happy times, look forward to more soon! Your baby is so beautiful!

This dog has a better life than I did when I was growing up for example one time I twisted my leg and I had a sprained ankle and my dad said the pain will go away he didn't do anything for me 🥲
