SHIFTER! CUSTOM BUILT SM465

I was having a tough time thinking of a shifter knob that would stand out and still be cool. My first thought was a beer tapper but it turns out that was already thought of... ;) So I decided to build the entire shifter! Thanks for watching and God bless!!

I drive a semi truck with a custom stick... i just changed my k5 blazer from auto to stick and trans is seized in neutral. Been soaking inside in atf to try to get free. I have 1st gear now. I am looking to take top cover off to try to clean up and free up

Hahaha, awesome shifter! When it's out later might wanna throw on a flip-up button protector thingy. I've got the same trans/tcase wanting to go into a YJ, someday. Thanks for uploading these videos, I always learn something.

To each his own, but I think the stock chrome shifter cane with a T handle knob would have been your best set up, but hey if you like it that's all that matters.

....go get a cheap buffing wheel at Harbor Freight and stick it on your grinder so you can make that shifter look like chrome...the good thing about stainless steel is that it never dulls like aluminum does...will stay shiny forever.

Oh, what year is your chevy? I'm restoring a 76 shortbox stepside 4x4 w/8" lift and a jeep YJ with a sbc/NP205/twin stick and 8 lug chevy 3/4 ton axles...getting ready to do the first start! Cross your fingers because I was "told" the motor is good....we'll see right? lol.
