The driver delivered a petroleum in downtown that day, and entered the freeway. Ramp was still open and he did not know about protesters there. He managed to stop empty truck, which is not easy, did not hurt anyone. But now he beaten by "peaceful" protesters and arrested. Free the tanker truck driver.

If anyone ran into pedestrians or protestors with a vehicle they would be behind bars until they go infront of a judge. Police brutality and abuse is a direct response of lawmakers ineptitude in managing the force of the state. Fix it or resign so we can vote someone in that can do the job.

Oof. That was too close. If they're closing the road, those on it entrust their lives to it actually being closed, and proper warning if reopening or gating someone through. As a road worker, this stuff is worst nightmare scenario.

Tanker truck driver plows at full speed into crowd of protesters in Minneapolis, gets pulled out and beaten.

In a video of the incident, a large crowd on a bridge quickly parts as a tanker truck approaches at full speed on I-35, a road that had reportedly been closed off to car traffic. The crowd converges and surrounds the car and pulls the driver out of the truck’s cab.

Several people were reportedly hit by the truck, but no injuries have been reported, according to Fox 9.
