For the seventh episode of the Tower Sessions, Up Dharma Down performs their song - "Indak". This performance was filmed and recorded at Tower of Doom Studios during a live recording session.

Well, literally, "Indak" means to dance. The song is about someone who isn't sure whether to dance to her own tune (which she knows is right), or to dance to the tune of the one she loves (and just hope he doesn't step on her toes). Basically, it's about the inner conflict of whether to stay or go in a relationship. Very bittersweet.

To be honest, the lyrics are very ambiguous...it could mean a lot of things to different people (which is why it's so beautiful).

I am Mexican-American and recently discovered Filipino music and although it’s sad that I missed out for so long, Up Dharma Down/UDD is my favorite. What a rare talent Armi is; I just can’t get over her voice—and she’s so pretty! Oo, Indak, and Tadhana are some of the best songs ever.

For those who are wondering - drummer Ean Mayor wasn't able to join us for this session due to scheduling issues. Luckily, the band brought some synth and drum loops they had made for the song, so we were able to push through with the session.
