Day 53: Heaven Can Wait (1943)
Run Time: 112 minutes

Small Review:
Ernst Lubitsch's "Heaven Can Wait" is another one of his classic comedies, albeit less a laughing riot and a subtler romance. It's a fine feature with classic acting and a classic look, and while it slowly but surely plays out, it doesn't entirely compare to Lubitsch's other film. Aside from that, it's still worth a look for Lubitsch fans.

Final Rating: B+

You forgot to state why for me and many others this is a great film, THE CAST! Unbelievable
Every actor/actress is fantastic
It definitely puts in the “A” rating, This is only one reason Criterion released it, the others for me are because it is a film that the plot itself is not important but the feelings it evokes, and for me personally, Don Ameche is one of favorite actors from this period, check out “Midnight” with him and again a unbelievable cast, one of my favorite films of that era
