GRAND HYATT Manila Hotel Tour

Grand Hyatt Manila is a true 5 star hotel in the high rise BGC area of Manila. It's in a safe walking area of condos, offices, malls and restaurants. One of two Hyatts in Manila, the other being preferred by me for many reasons as a Globalist member. Check out my soon to publish video on HYATT CITY OF DREAMS Manila.

Per my experience, the pros of this hotel are the location, the many food outlets including a mall two blocks away, and the breathtaking view from the rooms.

Keep in mind that hotel rooms are roughly floor 30 to 60, with other floors above the lobby and pool area being occupied by a bank. If you have a fear of heights, this may not be the hotel for you.

The cons include internet issues that they could not solve in my stay, employees that are friendly but the courtesy doesn't seem genuine, limitations of Globalist benefits that the other Manila Hyatt does not have, valet/parking attendants that apparently don't understand English well and send you to the front desk to work out issues that the misunderstandings cause, a club lounge that could not provide basic drinks like ice tea and condiments like pancake maple syrup, and confused phone communications when assistance is needed. I noticed a significant number of negative reviews for this Hyatt on TripAdvisor, so you may want to review them as well.

I like the pros and cons, especially when you mentioned staff are friendly but didn't seem genuine. I had a bad experience in Crimson Hotel....Not really bad. I was trying to check in but was on the wrong desk. The staff was just doing their phone, ignoring me when I inquire.
