on the day that I wrote this, I woke up feeling bad about my appearance. tried on at least ten different outfits, but nothing was helping. i was nervous was because I was supposed to meet up with someone I wanted to impress that morning. as I was considering canceling my plans altogether, the idea for this song popped into my head. even though the narrator is just a character I made up (a lonely Juul pod dealer with a heart of gold -- lol), the struggle still feels very real to me and hopefully some of you can find some peace/catharsis in relating to it.

you DO NOT need to impress anyone with the way you look. the real ones will stick around, even when they see your fangs ;)

I like how you chose the word fangs. Like in a context like wild animals fangs are a sign of a bad time. But some people love fangs. So while you think your fangs might scare them of, it might be what they wanted to see

Is it weird that I subbed before I even listened to a single song? I saw the thumbnail, was watching the ad, saw the entire recommended turn to vids of his, and it made me realize that that's exactly how it is with all of the other small artists I've seen.
