Lmao, ive watched VP for years and have recommended your channel to him before. This crossover is the most hilarious and weirdest one Ive ever seen. Ive told him to come down to the states many times, but pretty sure he never reads my messages. Swell guy.

Ken, before you buy a tiller, look up Edward Faulkner & Ruth Stouts, they are major pioneers in effective no-till farming!

On a side note... you should give some thought to maybe offering a single/primitive "AirB&B" rental RV site on your property. AirB&B is pretty safe as they have a lot of security protocols in place, plus, you can control the rental terms to your heart's content. Nothing ventured, nothing gained... it could turn out to be a pretty nice and easy side hustle, especially given the recent motorhome/RV camper revival. Motorhome/RV camper folks are often in need of a one or two-night stay in between their main destinations, coming and going!

Hi, I have some organic farming experience, I’m from the US, Florida. Also tilling isn’t best method, no till plants are healthier so have less pests. If the shit hits the fan can I come too? I just need 1 acres. Vegetable police is a funny guy. Also you’re intelligent from what I’ve seen in your videos about magnetism. - Carlos

Veganism is tough. When it comes to keeping that T-Rex edge, it makes brontosaurus hunting difficult. It'd work if everybody else was a brontosaurus ... but the power brokers are eating red meat. What is a nature lover to do, what do we do?

Well, appears I may be the only selfish person commenting here but that's ok. If the person you invited declines the offer please place me on your list for consideration! 😁 I'm not a "spring chicken", just an old farmer's wife and retiring Nurse Practitioner. 200 A of our farm was dedicated primarily as an apple orchard but we always had acres of corn also. I worked side by side with my mother-in-law in the family's personal garden - apx 5 A of green beans, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, summer, and spaghetti squash, lima beans, cucumbers, radishes, bell peppers, cabbage, beats, peas, potatoes, etc to name a few of the veggies we grew. I tilled the soil, planted the crops, spent endless hours pulling weeds on my knees as we were organic long before it became a "thing" (companion planting, especially using certain herbs, was our "insecticide" & helped prevent disease. No chemical fertilization - just constant vigilance, love, and elbow grease). I cultivated, pruned, picked, learned to can and preserve, and rotated through the open air fruit/veg market my in-laws had established years prior and where half the town came to stock up during Season because our product was fresh, the prices were right, and our quantities generous. In my off-time I planted and grew my personal favorite crop - strawberries. Only a couple acres but strawberries require special attention as once they come on the clock starts ticking and you have to seek out and find them (as fruit from the same vine ripens at different intervals). In order not to waste or lose any fruit you need to have patience and be dedicated to scouting out the crop every day. My berries were so big and ripe and juicy I would pick at least 50 qts a day and they usually sold out by noon. The strawberry crop was My $$ and at $0.75/qt I'd make an avg of $50/day. 7 days a week. By planting new crops every week I was able to rotate the supply and maintain a couple months of sales. In 1973 $1400/mo wasn't bad for a side gig. But I also had a huge pumpkin field. This was handled more like a u-pick because kids loved roaming around and plucking their chosen punkin off the vine. I won blue ribbons one year for the biggest and the ugliest pumpkins! 😆 Anywho, though it's been a while since the farm, once a farmer's wife always a farmer's wife! After moving South, where what they call soil is mostly sand, gardening became more of a chore than a passion as I didn't have the same time to devote to the tedious processes involved in ensuring a decent sized plot (big difference in soil, insects, heat, rainfall and so on). I could resort to using chemicals to short-cut the labor but I won't do that. So now I stick with plants like prickly pear, aloe, pineapple, avocado, oregano, basil, mint, lemongrass, and occasionally tomato, peppers, and green onions. I also tend to a family of 80+ year old orchids picked from the Everglades in the 1940's by a former elderly neighbor who gifted them to my daughter 27 years ago when she was born. I have dozens of orchids in the same back-breaking planter and their roots are so entertwined now I could never separate them - I think they'd die from broken hearts. They don't require much care. I will provide h2o if we have an extended dry spell and I prune them sparingly. But each year new babies "arrive", and though they are dormant most of the year, they begin to bloom in December and I get to admire and enjoy a lush semi-tropical mini-garden outside my front door for the next couple months as each plant buds and blooms at different times. I counted the open flowers one day but lost count at 100! So not trying to toot any horn here, just entering the conversation because I think that everyone should have some experience growing their own food. I've made some adaptations to the Process since sustaining injuries a few years back - I call it my "Ability Garden" because there are so many ways to adapt equipment and conserve energy etc. - allowing access to the experience for people with disabilities or those requiring help. There are few things more uplifting than planting something and watching it grow and then nourishing yourself and others with your harvest. You've got the right idea for sure. But ya gotta be particular these days who you'll allow access to your homestead, I'm sure I didn't need to tell you that, but sadly 'tis true. Thanks for sharing a part of your life with us on utoob. Living vicariously can be inspiring also. And you always mix it up though sometimes you orbit far beyond the outer limits and/or the "speed" my noodle can translate or keep pace with! 😆 Well, more often than not. Thanks again - for letting me blab. XxxOoo

As stated below, I would check out no-till/permaculture....but unlike what I see below, it is not easier. Also, at some point, aerating is used, just not total tilling.
