EXCLUSIVE: Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake Has Been Rebooted

After first being announced in 2020 and years in development, Insider Gaming has learned exclusive details about the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake, including the fact it's been rebooted at Ubisoft Montreal.

Other details include the game's main voice actor changing, delays, and other changes within the game during its long development cycle. There's also a small update on a potential Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake Release Date.

No Yuri lowenthal is annoying, Not gonna lie.. tbh I feel like forgetting about this game now. Yuri is a big piece to this puzzle. Huge fan of this series & him. I’m over it.

"Go big or go home." They started small and cheap, but thankfully they're self aware to realize their mistake and hopefully give it the same quality a brand new game would get today. I wish Rockstar would've realized their "definitive edition" is a mess and would've took the time to remake it properly from the ground up. Those games would be incredible if made today.

At Ubisoft Forward in June 2024, Ubisoft announced that the remake will release in 2026 under the original title Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

The 2021 reveal of the remake was pathetic. PS3-ass-looking graphics for the PS5 generation. Might as well just re-render the cinematics in 1080p and release an ordinary port of the game. That way there won't be disappointment, because we'll know exactly what to expect.

I think they should stop making the 2d pop games and focus on either a new pop 3d game or after the sands of time game is released maybe see if they should remake warrior within and the two thrones think what they could do with the gore stuff warrior within had and think how epic and realistic Babylon would be in the two thrones and also it would give Ubisoft a chance to fix some of the issues tge games had in the past

They are doing the right thing by building it from the scratch. This is help them create a core for their later installments. Creating the exact same game with no edit to story line makes it boring.
