Come to think of it, if there was an Undertale any% with hacks category, the flee option would be really useful for auto-skipping Flowey.

This does make me wonder if I would've preferred Undertale's first Flowey encounter to let the player make actual choises beyond dodging or not dodging his 'friendliness pellets.' That 'you know what's going on here' bit is currently the only way the player can subvert Flowey's expectations, but hurting him right off the bat (without killing him) could lead to places, maybe Flowey would be delighted to find 'someone who's not an idiot like the others' or something like that. Then following a genocide run through the Ruins, attacking him right from the start would obviously give him an incentive to reveal his identity so as to get his best friend on board the murder train, or on a nicer path, he could berate the player for 'already having gone soft after a strong start' or something to the effect, just a whole bunch of options.


Additionally being able to flee from him right into Toriel's waiting arms would probably make some speedrunners / replay enthusiasts happy.

The keys aren't inverted, it's just that since they're already on the top, it skips to the bottom option and vice versa.

I remember adding sdfh or smth and it put me from genocide to neutral with the call gone and replaced with infinite monster candy, cinnamon roll, when used replaces with call options. Stats? that crashed the game. Went through the door and didn't eat at all
