Cumbrian Silage 2024. Mowing the lush grass fields with a NH T7.210 and Krone trailed mower.
Показать описание
A lovely bright day (haven’t been too many so far this summer!) to watch a brand new New Holland T7.210 and Krone Easycut TS 320 CV dropping a fine first crop of grass.
Very colour coordinated this one, with blue sky with white clouds to match the NH and the green/ yellow colour scheme of the Krone was the perfect match to the pasture.
After all the grey cloud and rain of the previous few weeks (if you look in the distance you can see a waterlogged spring barley crop) it was so pleasant to be out filming under blue skies and the smell of the lush grass was so refreshing.
Also refreshing was the fact that the NH was operating a trailed mower/ conditioner as this type of machine is less common now seen as front/rear combinations and triple butterfly setups now seem to be the more popular choice but the 3.2mtr cut (10ft 6in in old money!) Krone knocked down a lot of grass that day and I was lucky to get along the following day to watch it being picked up by a Claas Jaguar 75 trailed forager. (Video to follow soon)
