I did a dark winter woods theme a couple of years ago and to bring a glistening ice glimmer but to stay on my edgier cold aesthetic I used tinsel. It was so gorgeous SO GORGEOUS. With the lights and the fan on the tree was alive all the time and it was so shimmering I was obsessed. I couldn't believe nobody used it. My husband wasn't as enthused as the end of Christmas when we had to remove each piece and I think we still pull a few strands out every Christmas but it was a win in my book. I had just run across it in my dollar general when I ran in for candy canes and grabbed a few bags and just couldn't believe the star of the show in my living room was a $1 that year. I just love it

Love the tree and Bryan's (sp ?) train. I am so partial to trains, because my dad loved them. He always had a large train table with plaster mountains, a tunnel, village, lighting, etc. Such a fun thing to share. I built a smaller, less extravagant version for my son's room. He's now 33 and getting engaged soon! I love the large star sitting in your tree. I'm so excited for "C" to get here ❤ Maybe Connor or Christopher ( since I'm Kris) Give sweet Brynn a hug and the pups 🐶 🎄✨️

I love these decorating videos and how your mind thinks! (Especially with the umbrella stand😮) Tinsel is such a great idea and it's something that can be reused. I hear it's not the most eco-friendly, but i love it when its used sparingly like you did. I also can't imagine doing this at nearly 9 months pregnant!
