I wish I had seen this earlier. Started out on my own in 2020, and then the lockdowns hit. Made so many errors, and put money where - I now know - I shouldn't have. In the end, I ran out of money, shut down, and get a full time job again.

I don't regret any of it, as I learnt so much. You learn nothing without making mistakes.

I've now been working full time for over a year and getting the itch to try again. This time being a little wiser. This video right here, has made a big difference to my future thoughts, and I thank you very much for it.

Great to see you putting an emphasis on branding. There are many great businesses with *fantastic* services, but a brand that nobody is going to remember or even acknowledge (honest, but true). And I can't disagree with your marketing advice. All key, although I have a big preference for SEO 😊

Another great video full of good quality information, that is actually really useful and not the usual talking the talk and all devoid of any real world use. You forgot one thing though about filming on camera... sometimes the person either does not have the right look or voice for the full on video to be done on them, and that really is something I can relate to. UNles syou can come across as relaxed and confident, them I would suggest that it could be advantageous to use someone else in the business who would maybe more suitable to go on camera, or heck, hiring someone initially to see how things go? Alternatively, go for good content and voice overs on it, but most importantly, interact with the people who engage, as who knows, they could be a potential next client! Nice one!

Absolutely love this and the point you made at the end about having zero expectations but to keep consistent is so valuable! Thank you!

Great content Pete thank you!!

Is it absolutely necessary to have all those distracting background music?

Makes it difficult to listen to what you're saying and unnecessary brain processing power is used.
